So, on my netbook, I have been having this issue where I apparently accidentally pop up the screensaver's "unlock screen" as the system is going to sleep. So when the system wakes back up, you end up *way* past the timeout for how long the dialog is supposed to be on screen, so it shows the "Time has expired" message, and I have to wait an extra 2-3 seconds before i can even think to unlock the screen. Blah.
About an hour of hacking ( and my netbook adding insult to injury by exhibiting the same error when I went to unlock it to work on this ) later, I give you this: https://gist.github.com/51f274e26a1ff5d48848
Yay no more stupid bug! Dre: 1, gnome-screensaver: 0
Dear stupid software, take note.
Do not piss off the Dre. Because if you do, and do it enough, she will fix you
